This book is a hot adult romance that contains adultcontent, and usually I don't really like those type of reads as much, but theauthor does a wonderful job bringing diversity to the table and a very sweetlove story between the two main characters Zoey and Brandon. Brandon comes frommoney and Zoey has had a traumatic up bringing and the pair really worked for meas a reader, and then there is the villian Sandy who just doesn't know whenenough is enough and Brandon doesn't want her. The story gets intense and forme it had a lot of everything so I'm giving it a 5 star rating and grabbingbook 2! For an adult audience though.-Book Relations Blog

Cliffhanger :(

I really wish I would've read the reviews before I read this book, because if I had, I would have held off on reading it. I hate cliffhangers, which is why I gave this book 3 stars. If I could have, I would have given it a 2.5.
I really loved the beginning of this book, then the author lost me with the graphic details on the child molestation. Really, it was way too graphic, I skipped it. I kept reading and the characters grew on me.
Really sick of these authors with the cliffhangers. Sometimes it takes months or a year for them to follow up with the second book, by then who even remembers what happened in the first book. Some of these authors don't even bother to finish the series. Idk who started this trend, but it sucks for the reader. Then they charge full price, for an incomplete book.
Will I read anything else from this author? I guess I will have to, to get an ending to this book. Lol This was my first time with this author, I had to get used to her style of writing, and if I wasn't for the ending I would have given this book 5 stars.

I knew there was a cliffhanger but I read it anyway. It could have been better. Too little character development Yes, the sex between Brandon and Zoey is steamy but that's about it. The author had a great premise but failed to flesh it out. The end was just a jumble so it could lead to another book. Plus, the author needs to do a little more research. Sandy calling the hospital pretending to be Zoey's mother would not have gotten information over the phone. That would be a violation of HIPAA laws . Hopefully the conclusion will be better.

Pretty OK, but Waiting for Book #2

Cliffhangers get me every time. This was the 1st time that I've read this author, and it was a pretty OK book. Based on some of the previous comments, I might need to check out the other books that she's written. There were a lot of sexual scenes in this book, and I think it took away a little bit from the story line. In addition, it seemed to jump between scenes and a break using a couple of asterisks would've been helpful. However, I'm very much interested in Book #2 to see what happens with Brandon & Zoey. All in all, not too bad.
